Those Were the Days

Air Golden is an airline inspiring from the HKGolden forum. S.NG and KL Leung founded Solar Flight Training Center on 24 May, 2012, Initially based in Adelaide, Australia. After the GameSpy Server Crashed on 11 October 2012, the two men eventually moved to London and established the airline – Air Golden.

An Investment In the Future

The new company began to operate passenger flights to Manchester, Liverpool, Edinburgh and Amsterdam From London. Expansion was fast and, in 2013, under the leadership of Mickey Ma, AG Group became wholly responsible for the management of the airline. In 2014, Golden Lite was established focusing on region flight.

• March 2013, Air Golden expanded their fleet with Airbus A330/A340 Family, Boeing 777 Family, 747-8F Freighter Aircraft.

• April 2013, With the new aircraft arrived, Air Golden moved to new Hub – Hong Kong, with daily flights to Taipei, Shanghai, Bangkok and Singapore.

• June 2014, Golden Lite established and received first batch of Airbus A321.

​

• April 2016, Start the Retire Program of Boeing 747-400 passenger aircraft.

​

• March 2017, Last Airbus A340-300 Retired.
